What is Meditation?
Meditation, yoga or anything else? Psychology has a word – mindfulness. Mindfulness is a phase in the body, where our body maintains its cohesiveness and gives the body a healthy feeling. This mindfulness basically represents the definition of meditation. Simply put, meditation (Meditation In The practice of Merit) is a practice of relaxing and relaxing the human body, mind, and brain. It is also called a type of exercise. However, it does not develop the body muscles like the other exercises, but even if it is for a short period of time, the person will break the mental state of everything and push the empty brain to become more concentrated. When Windows slows down while running the computer, we do not refresh Windows by right-clicking the mouse, just like meditation works on our body’s computer like a refresh button.
Meditation In The practice of Merit
Haven’t you seen the Kung Fu Panda movie? There Po received a special initiation from his kung fu master Shifu, called “Inner Peace.” Meditation will likewise help you find your inner peace. Richard J., director of the Neuroscience Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Davidson once told the New York Times,
“In the Buddhist scripture, meditation is like the sports word in the English dictionary. This is not something specific, but it is a combination of different activities. “
Even different meditation requires different brain skills. Just as it is for different sports.
Types of Meditation
There are different types of meditation. Not all meditations are the same, but they are. Some of the methods, like any other, make one kind of improvement in one meditation body. However, in consideration of everything, meditation is basically 2 types – Concentration Meditation and Mindfulness Meditation.
1. Concentration Meditation
Concentration meditation is intended to involve the human body psychologically over a particular object. It may be strange activities like controlling the breath, repeated sounds, monitoring the candles or counting the beats. It sounds strange, but in reality, they are very effective. This concentration of the brain may seem a bit daunting at the beginning of practice meditation. It is possible to gradually dominate this meditation.
2. Mindfulness Meditation / Open Monitoring Meditation
This kind of meditation influences a large part of the brain. Mindfulness meditation is much deeper than Concentration Meditation. Mindfulness meditation helps to set goals on every moment that goes into our brain. The main purpose of this meditation is not to judge or delay those thoughts, but to improve our body’s response to each and every thought. Suppose a great problem has arisen before us. Now what steps we can take to overcome that problem, it has nothing to do with mindfulness meditation. Rather, this meditation will help us figure out how to accept the situation.
Self Development and Meditation
According to many, meditation is a skill. Learning meditation and learning skills is like gaining proficiency. Meditation can be done at home to start self-development. Meditation increases the ability to make decisions quickly, with no choice but to become confident in one’s life.
